Screenings
Why Do Our Pets Need Surveillance Screening?
Our pets can’t tell us when they’re feeling unwell or experiencing discomfort, which makes regular checkups and routine screenings essential. By examining your pet every six months and performing preventive tests, we can detect potential health issues before they become serious or show visible symptoms.
Additionally, pets often hide signs of illness due to natural survival instincts, meaning problems may not be noticeable until the disease has progressed.
Use the age chart below to see your pet’s age in “human years” and review the recommended health screenings for each stage of life.
These proactive tests give us the best opportunity to help your pet enjoy a longer, healthier, and happier life.
